Here are a couple of photos of me, at age 17, posing with my Fender Esquire guitar. Wish I still had the guitar. Wish I still had the hair. My sister, Susan Thompson Barrett '68, and I lived in an apartment at 52nd and Trojan. An easy walk to school. I taught my best friend Jack Tempchin how to play guitar. Years later he met Glen Frey and wrote Peaceful, Easy Feeling among other songs. I retired from a career in law in 2009 and moved to Honduras. I am the house singer and guitar player at a restaurant here in La Ceiba -- Peter Thompson '65 |
