I suspect this might be Opening Day

Look at all those Volkswagens.  Oh, wait -- that's what cars looked like in the late 1940s.  Check out the guy looking for a parking spot.  When you backed in you usually got a lot of "help" from drivers and passengers in the nearby cars.

"Once patrons found just the right dock to park their automobile they could trigger a switch on the speaker post to call a car hop to come and take concession snack orders."

I wonder if this slide was all they had for the original playground
