You
are looking at a 99¢ Kinko's color reduction
of a photo featured on a giveaway passed out
at the opening of the San Diego Federal
Savings & Loan branch in Pacific Beach. I
was there, but can't tell you what year it
was. I'm going with 1983. The photo looks
north from Grand Avenue between Jewell and
Kendall. Much of the photo is Pacific Plaza
Shopping Center before Pacific Plaza II was
built at the right. Some of you may remember
Bank of America, the Fine Arts Theatre, Mr.
G's Pizza, Swensen's Ice Cream and Goodyear
Tires.
