Two photos of a flooded Mission Valley, taken on February 20, 1980, with Highway 163 snaking its way north on the left in the top photo. I think that's Courtesy Chevrolet above left, next to The Akron Department Store. The Mission Valley Circle Theater stands out below, along with Caesar's Restaurant, which became The Rusty Pelican. After the entire center was razed, Gordon Biersch was built on the old Caesar's site.
