The Ted Geisel UCSD Library
and Memorial Statue

Horton appears to be Hearing A Who as Dr. Seuss sits back in his easy chair and puts his foot up on his desk. The Ted Geisel Memorial Statue was executed by sculptor Lark Grey Dimod-Cates in 20024.  Behind the two is the UCSD Theodore Geisel Library, designed by William Pereira & Associates and built in 1965.  (Photo and information courtesy of Scott Shaw)
