John --I was checking out Memories and Things Which Aren't Here Anymore and I have one for the serious San Diego Charger fans. The Chargers, of the old American Football League played in Los Angeles in 1960, the first year the AFL came into being then moved to San Diego in 1961. Here is very first program of the very first game they played, an Exhibition game June 6, 1960 at the LA Coliseum. A few of the coaches’ names should be very familiar –- and check out the ticket prices!!!!! Seven home games for $28.00 TOTAL. Who remembers the name of the band that played a lot of half-time Charger home games? (Hint: There was a music store near 70th and El Cajon Blvd connected with the band -- another thing which isn't here anymore) -- Don Rogers '69
