Anna Chamberlin posted this photo on Facebook in early July 2024.  It was taken in Oceanside, California.  I've known Anna since I recruited her for the 1981 Miss Pacific Beach Pageant (she won). She went on to a career as a flight attendant for American Airlines, took a few years off to marry and have three children, then resumed her career with the airlines.  Ken Ptack must be one of her Facebook friends.  He and I were childhood buddies.  He went to Annapolis and ended up in the Marine Corps as an A-6 pilot.  He's known Anna as long as I have, but was trying to do the math.  Is it possible she's a 63-year old grandmother?  Yes it is!  The United State Naval Academy, by the way, was founded on October 10, 1845 and will turn 189 this year.
