Lana Youngflesh Lopez
December 27, 1944 - May 22, 2004
Lana passed from this life after a courageous battle with cancer that plagued her life on and off for forty years. Her life has truly been a "medical miracle." Her greatest joy was being with her family and the people that she loved. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening, scrap booking, decorating & spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving is her beloved husband of 22 years, Ken Lopez, four children, Julianna Kracke of Austin, TX and Cherie Holliday of Philippi, WV, Dianna Armstrong and Matt Lopez, both of Antioch, California. Also surviving is her devoted father, Harlan Youngflesh, and her brother & sister-in-law, Keith & Sue Youngflesh. Her mother, Lois Youngflesh, precedes her in death.
by Carol Larsen Cancer is so limited ... It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace. It cannot destroy confidence. It cannot kill friendship. It cannot shut out memories. It cannot silence courage. It cannot invade the soul. It cannot reduce eternal life. It cannot quench the spirit. It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection. |
