| Here I am multi-tasking (before it was called that) at KLOA in 1971. Thanks for the "top billing," as my friend, Keith Ballantine '62 referred to it in your Fry Day Email, but I haven't been Wes Owens in radio since I left KLOA, Ridgecrest, CA in 1977. The program director at K-BEST 95 radio had me drop the "s" on Owens to make it Wes Owen when I went to work there 30 years ago in San Diego. Yes, Jeff Prescott and a lot of us radio people often get together on Saturday nights at Shotgun's home. Old DJ's never die -- we just do it at 7.5 IPS -- Owen "Wes" Western '63 |
