No
mystery here -- except which direction we're
actually looking. I always think Rosecrans,
which you can see in the foreground, runs east
and west, but it doesn't. The Loma Theater is
at the left side of the photo and, across the
street, the Navy housing 4-plex where my Mom
and sister and I lived for a few weeks before
we finally got our orders to Guam. If, in
fact, you're having trouble getting oriented,
the Naval Training Center is in the foreground
and Lindbergh Field is at the right.
