| Crawford Class of '72 "Girls Night Out" group once again gathered for their "5th Annual Post-Holiday Re-gifting" party. It was held January 14, 2011 at Robbie Nelson's Ocean Beach abode. Among the party goers last weekend were seven ladies who have maintained contact since Kindergarten (Oak Park-Horace Mann-Crawford) ! Nibbling those classic glazed peanut butter chews using the original Crawford High School Cafeteria Ladies' recipe (of course, each one gingerly separated by traditional wax paper squares) brought back fond memories of the gold 'ole days. High on PB bars, they couldn't help but join in singing the Crawford anthem. Ain't nothin' like being in a room of unbridled colts!! |
