Maynard's was the "happening place" in the '60s and '70s. Spaghetti Night, Taco Night, and Sunday morning Spanish Omelets. 25¢ would buy you one, but you might order two just to make sure you didn't leave hungry. Underage diners could order from the outside window on Ocean Boulevard. When Maynard's closed, Owen the Cook went to Tug's.
